yep. although the use of these lines are not that mission critical,
it still worries me. what could be the chances of this happening,
especially for this brand? are there alternatives? are they better?
dealers?

when a modem stops responding, what usually causes it? is it the
hardware or does it have something to do with the mgetty/radius
or a combination of both?

| but the 'clean' setup of just having to plug in the phone clips to the
| back of the modem, eliminating the clutter of serial cables + modem +
