I found this info: http://support.ati.com/products/workstation/FireGL4/linux/firegl4_linux_drivers.html It seems the high-end SonicBlue FireGL cards (based on IBM hardware, now produced by ATI) are *officially* supported on Linux!! (unlike the ATI Radeon consumer video cards, for which support is third-party) Also http://www.aliaswavefront.com/en/Community/Support/qualified_hardware/QUAL/maya_30_linux.html Unfortunately only the SGI Visual Workstation and HP zx10 are supported systems. However the SGI VR3, HP Visualize fx10, NVIDIA Quadro2 Pro, and SonicBlue FireGL2 are qualified to run Maya. -- Orlando Andico <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Mosaic Communications, Inc. _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
