Thanks. I'm checking it out right now (and bookmarking it, as well). :)

That doesn't make it any more or less ethical, does it? But then
license-wise, the BSD allows this (and more, even), right? Any comments on
this bit? (Or should this go to PLUG-Misc?)

It looks like the OpenBSD ISOs are from fsn.hu, too. As per the .message:
-----
ftp.fsn.hu's unofficial OpenBSD CDs:
The images found in this directory are not the official CD images that can
be ordered on www.openbsd.org/orders.html. If there's any problem with the
image please mail the iso image maintainer about it, and not the OpenBSD
project. Also, if you like OpenBSD please consider buying one of the
official CDs which help fund the OpenBSD project.

Not much to optimize, I think. I'm not using PPPoE. This is standard
ethernet. My data transfers seem to be pretty good both upstream and
downstream when I do simulations to max out the connection. I'm supposed
to have 256kbps downstream and 128kbps upstream (assymetric), but when I
downloaded an ISO from UP Manila via Cito Maramba's gracious ETPI DSL,
data transfers (outgoing as far as my server is concerned) did around
256kbps. Neato! :)
