nifty! developed any further? i did not really follow the thread. but, i
am willing to help in this endeavor. and i am pretty sure than doc mana
is will to contribute his expertise. hehehe.

however, there are some problems that could arise... most of the
problems were already pointed out maybe i could just post some of them
again:

-after installing them, who is going to support the system? we can offer
voluntary support but that does not have enough milage kasi.

-cost of retraining and retooling those MIS departments. will companies
be willing to throw away previous invests made on their existing
systems?

-bundling staroffice could be a problem with SUN. was there ever
resolved?

frankly, i like ian idea and this could be a very good start. however,
different people have different needs and it would be good to get a good
idea about the different requirements of other offices and people.

sounds like a good idea. however, people usually have work at work
hours. a good number of people maybe unable to attend.
