Hi Francis,
For Frame-Relay alone, there are 16 bits for start and end of frame flags, 16 bit for address and another 16 bits for Frame Check Sequence.
Plus the overhead of TCP/IP packets.

Subject: [plug] [OT] frame-relay overhead
Hi all,
What's the normal frame-relay overhead? I have a 256Kbps CIR from PLDT
but
I'm only getting approximately 216Kbps when testing (downloading a huge
file
from a remote FTP server with no other traffic).
