Taiwan makes IBMs, Acers, and all the other top brands of PCs and
notebooks. I can't see why they can not make GOOD pdas.

The idea is to compile the kernel and apps on the Linux PC, then sync
them over to the Linux PDA -- the same way it is done on the PalmOS.
In case of the PalmOS, you never get to compile the OS.
