Hi, (Sorry I couldn't reply to the threads... my mailbox had some trouble and I caught up by reading the pipermail web archives...)
To clarify, the project I have in mind is not a particular session but an ongoing support system for people or institutions who wish to conduct training. In fact, at present I can think of 2 companies that need internal training and would benefit. Therefore, for the resources named by Ian: 1. Courseware - we can develop courseware together, which is necessary since different people == different points of view and opinions as to lead to the 'best current practices'. The old IPhil training could be used, though it may be dated at this point. William, do you have a copy? I'm having a hard time looking through the archives here. Our courseware should be under an open documentation license such that no group can proprietarize it. 2. People - there would be two sets. The first set is the group that works on the courseware, and the second would be the one who implements it in the field (or in the training room) and gets feedback such that the courseware group can refine it. 3. Venue - this would be for particular training sessions. I don't think we can have a grand "PLUG Training" on even a Linux10 scale, but instead we can work with the schools/organizations that have training facilities. For a classroom "Intro to Linux" type seminar, we have a conference room here in the office that we can use, but we don't have training facilities. Your thoughts? _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
