Umm, nothing scientific, really.  I should have been clearer.  

I observed that Radiator was able to handle about 200-300 people logging in
(definition of about the same time? 
about 1 minute apart from each other).  It was able to handle the requests
fine (no inordinate amount of time waiting for "Verifying username and
password..." prompts).  It was also able to handle >1000 connections (login
and logout) requests at its peak time.  Again, unfortunately, these figures
are not supported by any hard numbers/stats but were just my observation
when we used Radiator in our setup.
