Hi everyone, With this revived interest in advanced filesystems for Linux, this Slashdotted article (series, actually) might be of interest.
<http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/library/l-fs.html> Also, Keith Owens (of XFS, kbuild, and others fame) was interviewed by kerneltrap.com, I read it and it's pretty funky (especially since Keith Owens is an expected regular in the XFS mailing list where I regular, too). Funny bit about Linus being a self-proclaimed conniving bastard. Hahaha. I wonder if his proclamation will cause a lot of would-be hackers doing similar self-proclamation. ;> And lovely history, too. Stuff that went on before I was born. Sometimes I wonder if my being young is a boon or a bane. Oh well... time to catch up with the true oldbies. :) <http://kerneltrap.com/article.php?sid=350&mode=&order=0> Enjoy! :) --> Jijo -- Federico Sevilla III :: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Network Administrator :: The Leather Collection, Inc.
