#thats a great idea!!! can you tell me do i need to #setup for your suggestion to work? #
Well, you can always write an FTP script that automates transfer from your windows box to the Linux server (of course using FTP). Basically, what you need to do is to put all the commands you'd execute on an interactive commandline FTP session in a file, then pass the name of the file to ftp.exe to reply the commands -- I believe it's the -s option (Please verify this one; I don't have a windows boxes accessible) I wrote a similar batch file for a friend a few years ago.. Which basically did what I described above but the FTP script was generated by the batch file since some commands were dependent on the current date. I believe she used a cron-like service in NT to make the batchfile run regularly. stay cool. jeff -- -- Jeff Gutierrez Mapua Online! http://www.mapua.org http://www.mapua.com http://www.mapua.net Pinoy Ako!
