A simple solution is this:

o Install samba in the linux box 
   and create a shared folder
o Map the shared folder in the window$ box
o Install a backup/synchronization program
  in the window$ box and configure/schedule it to
  backup locally (i.e. from _your_original_folder_ 
  to the shared folder)

This one looks like a good backup/synchronization
program for window$:
