Hello again my fellow PLUGgers! =) We have already discussed with the organizers of the upcoming Linux event in SPCQC. Below are the summary of what we've discussed: - Linux Event in SPCQC - Date: September 15, 2001 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN (tentative, but will start at exactly 9AM) - Facilities: They can provide the LCD panel but the computers is not yet confirmed. - Parking Space: Only the speakers and volunteers are allowed to park inside the campus. So, for those who want to speak (William, Jijo, Dido, etc.) and/or volunteer for the installfest (Miguel de Leon, Percy de Leon, JohnHommer, etc.), I need your confirmations and if you have your own vehicle, please give me the description of your car and it's plate numbers ASAP. - For the confirmed speakers, please send me your resume and the title of your topic. Much better if you can provide already your presentations so that we can give to the organizers and print those presentations and distribute it to the participants. - Participants: Paulinian ladies from QC, Manila and some invited colleges. - Topics: It would be nice if it would just be more newbie approach. These ladies are not that exposed when it comes to other Operating Systems and/or Linux and OSS in particular.
