The only card I have experience with that supports multiple streams in hardware without ESD is my sound card -- Aureal Vortex2 SuperQuad Digital. It's a discontinued product, as Aureal is a discontinued company. OTOH the SBLive! also works. Not sure if the Audigy is supported.
