Help!
I just can't figure what's wrong with this. I'm using RH 7.1 with samba and LPRng and printconf that goes with
the distro . Got a win me for my print server and initially had
a successful printing to it. Then suddenly, couldnt print anymore. Thinking it was samba's problem
I upgraded to samba-2.2.2-20011013 static. I
was able to print for a while, then again I couldnt. So I replaced
printconf with printtool-4.5.1 and printfilters that goes with it now
I can test print but only on Postcript test page. Tried printing from
staroffice but unsuccesful. Now, I replaced all printer packages with
LPRng-3.8.2-1, rhs-printfilters-1.81, transfig-3.2.3c-2 (for fig2dev)
and LPRngTool (printtool v.3). But no luck, lprngtool is running
but now I cant print even a test page. Is there any problem with printer packages
in RH 7.1? because in RH 6.2 printing with these tools is flawless. Does anyone encounter
the same problem?
