I think it really depends on what your objective is when you are teaching.
If you are teaching mechanics or engineers about automobiles, you don't
give them the same stuff you teach people who just want to drive.

Which is why I'm perfectly fine with pushing Mandrake for newbies. If they
are interested in Debian or FreeBSD... then... heee
