Well, yes and no. Yes because the SGI XFS team is workign closely with
Andreas Grunbacher to be able to unify the EA/ACL namespace/API for Linux
especially for 2.5 and then 2.6 (kernel trees). No because I'm using XFS
and therefore not the ext2 and ext3 (?) patches by Andreas.

I wonder: does anyone on the list use filesystem ACLs (either with XFS or
with ext2/ext3 using Andreas Grunbacher's work)? I'd love to hear "yes
it's been done" messages in this area. I'm in desperate need of getting
unstuck with a number of pending questions.
