so moving to glibc is a mistake and the entire community learned the mistake by moving to glibc too.. you are not seeing the original posters point.. he was pointing out that people who whine about rh are ingrates.. rh has its contributions (a lot of them ) to the linux community oh if you are talking about gcc 2.96 as a mistake. it is not its more of a move so that bash would compile on other platforms ( duh gcc on that time won't compile bash on a as/400 (not sure really there were two platforms where bash wont compile )) either wait or go for 2.96 and lose compatibility oh well thats their move can't blame them -- -Dek [EMAIL PROTECTED] " profile, don't speculate" _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
