are there any advantages if .net were ported to linux? i mean, would that be
considered 'innovation'? there's already java on linux, why would we need
yet another distributed component architecture wachamacallit on linux, much
less a mere translation of microsoft technology into linux? is it my
imagination or is this .net linux port like a 'hey, me too!' playing
catch-up kind of thing?
