Greetings fellow Linux lovers,

Join us for an evening of sharing and light banter on the #PLUG
channel at UPCM.NET. Set your IRC clients to connect to upcm.net port
6667 and /join #PLUG in the evening of December 30, 2001 at around 10PM
onwards. Our forum topic will be what we look forward to in the Linux
circles in 2002 and what we might be doing as an organization in
promoting Linux at home, in the workplace, in school, in government,
and other spheres of influence.

#plug chatters usually congregate on the channel at around 10 pm and
generally engage in free wheeling discussions about our favorite OS
and other topics. Don't be shy. Join us and get to know some of the
people who love/hate Linux.

We are endeavoring to log the channel discussion and maybe post a
summary of highlights on a website sometime.

The discussion is in real time, so it is more interactive than a
mailing list. We are looking at holding more topical discussions on
#PLUG in the coming year and will announce these on the mailing list.
If you have a special topic that you want to host, feel free to drop
in on the channel and confer with us.

Sometimes though people are just parked there, so they might not
respond immediately. But hang around, have some virtual coffee. And
enjoy some interesting chat with people who love Linux.
