Will the X10 modules available in the US work here? > i wrote a little SCADA server for a class last semester. the code is available at my website but it is pretty crufty because it was tailored to our particular problem. (room automation includes lights, airconditioner, sounds and their corresponding sensors). the server is controllable via TCP/IP and uses PAM authentication. it also has a built in MP3 player and audio mixer manipulation routines. also included is a RTU (ready-to-use) parallel port library. just tell me what you think. however, since the class is over i have little time to work on it anymore. although, some friends in the Manila Observatory are going to use it for a controlled/experimental setup (controllers and sensors for experimentation).
