According to one of my former computer science teachers back in Diliman
(Paulo Noel G. Paje), it seems that UPLB was way ahead of UPD in terms
of computer science teaching. They had a masteral program available
years before Diliman did, and many of the present faculty in Diliman
today began their undergraduate and early graduate work in Los Banos
first. It has only been in recent years that Diliman caught up with LB
in this respect.
