Hi Andy,

A CHM viewer is really a very minor piece of >software compared to any of the three. I don't think that this is the right forum for you -- you see, people here use Linux and promote Linux and not Microsoft. I would rather that you don't bash Linux -- the moderator might kick you out of the forum. Anyway, .Net is a way for Microsoft to catch up with J2EE... look their bastardization of Java and called it C#. And yes, they pushed for the standards of C#, the language, but not the APIs. They can always change the API and move for the change in standards to their advantage, as always. WINE is an attempt to help those migrating from Microsoft. You cannot deny the fact that there are applications that run in Windows that do not have an equivalent for Linux (and vice versa). --o000o-- Prof. Rommel Palma Feria, MSc, SCJP Health Informatics and Mobile & Wireless Computing Group Dept. of Computer Science College of Engineering University of the Philippines - Diliman Quezon City 1101 Philippines TeleFax: +63-2-4343639 Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] --o000o-- Lead, follow or get out of the way! _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
