hello all,

can anyone point me at an open source (pref Linux) voice
mail system?

i'd prefer something that works with commodity hardware
(PC, soundcard, phone line, maybe a simple little circuit
board to interface soundcard with phone line that automatically
picks up the line and allows the computer to disconnect).

this would be a voice mail system rather than a basic
answering machine because i need basic DTMF
decoding. although at that point, i need VERY basic
DTMF capability, so even an answering machine that
just allows capturing the message to a wav/au file
would be OK since i could then find something else
to strip the DTMF codes (if any) out of the sound file.

thanks all. and yes, i'm going to start hitting up my
friend google in a bit. i'm posting here because i
figure someone will have done something like this
before and experience like that is even better
than google :).
