actually, this is not a strictly oracle-on-linux question. anyway, check your documentation for Oracle Connection Manager, the Oracle Listener and making them work together. OCM acts as a relay and connection multiplexer for your database, allowing ACLs as well. tell your DMZ firewall then to allow your relay machine to connect to the Oracle port (usually 1521) of your DB machine in your LAN. no instance is required on your relay machine. just the listener and the connection manager.
