Fellow PLUGgers, I just got an email from Tom Tran <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> of 3ware. He sent me a copy of the 3ware driver v1.02.016 for Linux, which fixes an incompatibility with the 3dmd software that was introduced with kernel 2.4.16 (or maybe .15, but that was crazy anyway).
This driver version has been accepted into 2.4.18-pre7, so people who are willing may upgrade to that kernel version. Those who would rather still use 2.4.16 or 2.4.17 but need the incompatibility fixed may download the tarball which I made available on my website (I will keep it there until 2.4.18 is released). <http://jijo.leathercollection.ph/3w-xxxx-1.02.016.tar.gz> Happy hacking. --> Jijo -- Federico Sevilla III :: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Network Administrator :: The Leather Collection, Inc.
