IBM made a statement saying that it had nearly recovered its multi-million
investments in Linux within a year. What makes me sad, though, is that IBM
has announced that it will "abandon" OS/2 and concentrate on Linux.
I wish IBM made OS/2 open source instead. But ofcourse if it did that,
OS/2 will compete with Linux in both development and real world use,
making it hard for IBM to make more money. Oh well, it's all about making
money for the commercial entities.
