hi pluggers, Yesterday, after my class. I check the server using ssh and found out something unusual. when i tried to execute w, df, ps and etc. Errors occured. I don't know why. but it seems someone mess up my distro. Also, I found out an unknown user in my /home directory and /etc/passwd.
[proxy@server proxy]$ w w: error while loading shared libraries: libproc.so.2.0.7: cannot load shared object file: No such file or directory [proxy@server proxy]$ top bash: /usr/bin/top: Permission denied Am I hacked? how can I trace the Culprit? Is there any log file to show logins and logouts of the user? How can I secure my server? I'm using Redhat 7.1 Thank you Mark __________________________________ www.edsamail.com _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
