Hi, Are you setting up a backup mail exchanger for your site (single domain) or something else? (i.e. domain.com -> 192.168.0.1, 192.168.0.2). If you want to setup a backup mail exchanger, you need to install & setup the SMTP service on both boxes and update the DNS information for your domain (hint: MX).
