Hi,

I'd like to ask those who've configured and deployed squid on GNU/Linux boxes if
they've managed to use some new features in v2.3 or 2.4. In particular, I'd like to
ask about Squid v2.4 which I want to configure with the GDSF and LFUDA removal
policies.

I've been going through the squid-users mailing list trying to come up
info on this but have not been able to find anything at all. When trying
to configure squid in the following manner:

./configure --enable-removal-policies=gdsf,lfuda,heap,lru

somewhere in configure's output it'll complain about Makefile.in not
being in the src/repl/gdfs or src/repl/lfuda directories.

Investigating further, there isn't even anything but a Makefile file
inside the mentioned directories. the src/repl/heap nad src/repl/lru
have other files though, and one of more important ones the c source
file.

Has anyone used these alternative heap replacement algorithms? (I think
I recall Jijo(?) using LFUDA). I've tried with the v2.4 stable 1-3
source packages already and haven't turned up anything...

Any help is appreciated.
