hoy mga pogi! pinag aaralan ko pa lang ang linux, mag tatanong lang po sana ako.
can linux get into graphics mode without X? i ask this because i am looking for small proggies (500 k max) to run in floppy linuxes (like tomsrtbt). i am transitioning from DOS to linux and i thought i'd learn the command line first to better understand linux concepts. so right now i just boot off with tomsrtbt or hal91 and fool around with the console pero i am running out of things to do na other than make/remove/list files/folders. to see what i mean here are links to some DOS programs: LxPic v7.0 - DOS commandline picture viewer (35kb!) http://home.t-online.de/home/stefan.peichl/ PhotoDex SEA 1.3 - DOS picture viewer with its own menu http://www.photodex.com/downloads/platforms/dos.html also if you know of any other small programs (tetris, pacman, .WAV recorder/player) please let me know. salamat! --- B r i a n I g l e s i a s Go Get It!
