Are you using a swap partition? You need one. But if you are using one,
try making it bigger. Make it at least 32MB of swap for memory intensive
distributions like Red Hat. It is best for most Linux systems to have swap
space.

BTW, anyone here running Linux without swap memory? If so, how much memory
do you have on your machine? Is it really advantageous to have no swap and
have lots of real RAM?
