the command 'hostid' prints the numeric indentifier for the current host as it says on the man page. Can anyone tell me what else can I get from this command? it's supposed to be in hexadecimal. but in one case it returns 0 or 1. i hope anyone familiar with 'hostid' could give me some hints. tnx in advance. _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
