How to secure NFS:
1) make sure nfs uses tcp and not udp.
2) make sure your rpc services can not be accessed outside your trusted
network (use ipchains!).
3) make sure only trusted hosts can nfs mount from nfs server
(see /etc/exports).
4) make sure /etc/hosts.allow and /etc/hosts.deny specify which set of
hosts can access your nfs services.
