Fellow PLUGgers,
(cc free.net.ph Junta)

This is slightly off-topic, so I hope you will all pardon me. I noticed that
while we have local Python and Perl mailing lists, there seems to be a lack for
a local PHP mailing list despite the fact that a number of us use it for web
application development work (and maybe even further along for those into PHP-Gtk).

So it is with great honor that I announce the PHP mailing list hosted by the
Free Network Group. Intended topics may range from installing PHP to work with
any of the supported web servers on any of the support platforms, to the
language nitty-gritties of PHP, to discussion of various projects using PHP, or
related to PHP (eg: hacking on it).

Interested parties will please feel free to subscribe via the web-based
interface at <http://lists.free.net.ph/mailman/listinfo/php>.

Juan Paolo Carballo has also started a #PHP channel on irc.free.net.ph, so those
wanting more realtime discussions on PHP-related topics will please head there.
Since I'm plugging irc.free.net.ph, and to keep slightly on-topic, we've had
(for quite some time now) the #PLUG channel where a number of us hang around to
chat about various stuff. Peak times are between 10pm and 1am.

:)

 --> Jijo
