Can I ask what version of the Linux kernel are you using? Before 2.4.16, the
workaround was to include mem=nopentium in your lilo.conf. I'm just
wondering if it's alright with 2.4.17 and 18. I'm using 2.4.18 and already
removed the mem=nopentium line. So far, no problem yet. I haven't seen in
the Changelogs if it's already fixed.
