//cc'd to ph-linux-newbie, where this would be more appropriate Installation Reminders on StarOffice to install: run setup with the /net (or --net) option as root. to use: run soffice as a normal user. The first run, it will install user configs in your home directory, as well as create shortcut links for GNOME and KDE users. Second run, it will start the program proper and prompt for any migration of addresses. Third run, it will prompt for registration. There would be some difference in installation if you'll be using 5.2 against 6.0 version of SO. I'm not also sure if the font antialiasing issues of OOo 1.0 will be an issue altogether in SO 6.0. If so, just check the font howto in the OpenOffice.org website. -- -->paolo Paolo Alexis Falcone [EMAIL PROTECTED] GnuPG KeyID 0xEADFF6F4 Tel# 6429577 Fax# 6429561 Mobile# 09174379283 _____________________________________________________________________________ if mcdonalds, burger king, jack in the box, and carl's junior were to get together to standardize the burger, would that affect the recipe of the one you make yourself with the best ingredients at a backyard barbecue? no matter how good theirs would be, it's just not the real thing.
