For basic Linux Printing help, check out <http://www.linuxprinting.org/>.
For printing to printers shared by Windows, I've found the Samba support
of CUPS <http://www.cups.org/> to be really great. Setup is simple and
straightforward, with web-based administration. Check CUPS out. Your
distribution should have packages for this.
