I do not think Ian was referring to the ASF press release when he said "CERT had to release an announcement because another group already announced it a while back. Quite impolite i must say. Now we are stuck with vulnerable web servers." Instead I think he was referring to the announcement made by the ISS X-Force on BugTraq, which included a non-working patch. Anyway, I continue to hope the ASF will have enough manpower to roll out new releases with updates soon.
