I've installed RAV Antivirus for Postfix. It looks like a very nice product! Yes, it's closed-source, but it has a Postfix version which is a daemon already! (no need for additional software).
The architecture is very similar to Sophie/Trophie + Avcheck. You have a "ravmd" daemon whose job is virus-scanning (analogous to Sophie) and a Postfix content_filter daemon "ravpostfix" which sits in the Postfix pipeline. Anyway the performance seems to be better than my old setup, AND it can look into recursive MIME encapsulated mails. Best of all: $299/server licensing per year!! Will be evaluating this over the next couple of days. --- Orlando Andico <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Mosaic Communications, Inc. _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
