One thing you may have omitted to say is that with ADSL (at least the one
pldt provides), you not only get dedicated internet, you also get back the
use of your voice phone, _while_online_; this is something dedicated
dialups cannot do..

Something to consider if you only have one phone line to give for data and
voice.
