I "successfully" (hit-and-miss) got GNOME 2.0 to install. Actually it's 
not 2.0 but an RC. I got it from people.redhat.com in Havoc Pennington's 
file area.

Anyway, Dek, you are right -- Nautilus 2.0 is one heck of a lot faster. 
Much faster! and the antialiased fonts are nice! and the GNOME Control 
Center lives inside Nautilus now! and the login screen looks like XP!  :)

The only wrinkle is, a LOT of apps haven't been ported to GNOME 2.0 yet 
(e.g. GIMP).

But my problem is, I can't see my M$ fonts (Verdana, etc). They are 
visible when I type "xlsfonts" so X sees them. But GNOME 2 doesn't see 
them. I tried editing the /etc/X11/XftConfig file, but so far nothing..
