You know, Red Hat's DAC960 support has been buggy as hell for quite a few versions. Back at $FIRM, where we maintained a variant version of that distribution, that was one of the things we had to fix every time RH produced a new version. The variant distribution still lives (elsewhere), and you might consider pulling down an ISO, from here: http://www.kainx.org/vermillion/ Of course, I can't exclude the possibility that RH 7.3 is choking on something it sees on your RAID set. It shouldn't happen, but it might anyway. So, if you don't yet have anything on RAID volumes you care about (or have good backups to revert to), then you could try blowing away and rebuilding from scratch the RAID "system disks" (or whatever they're called) in the Mylex Ctrl-R setup screens. -- Cheers, There are only 10 types of people in this world -- Rick Moen those who understand binary arithmetic and those who don't.
