Things to check and know:
1. Can you print in your cups box?
2. Can you print in your lprng box?
3. In your Cups box have you configured a printer that points to your lprng box?
4. In your lprng box have you configured lprng to accept printing from remote hosts?
This might be outdated info already but in RH 6.0 I had to keep a list of
allowed-to-print hosts in /etc/hosts.lpd
5. Are your firewall rules configured properly in both boxes?
