I agree, especially if the so called 'average home user' is a user of
Windows....

Unless there would be an easy migration path for Linux newbies who comes
from Windows world, if we remember the past, Microsoft did it with Lotus
123 and MS Excel, they provided a smooth transition path for avid Lotus
123 users, same with Word Perfect and MS Word...
