I now get to enjoy the positively delicious pleasure of defending DJB
fans.  ;->

That is, I still have much more confidence in PostgreSQL and Berkeley DB
than I do in MySQL. There just seem to be fewer data integrity
problems and rebuilds. Slashdot, for example, has periodic database
meltdowns, and is MySQL-based. (Caveat: These discussions are
inevitably skewed by some amount of old information.)

Anyhow, I think DJB fans' goals are laudable. I just don't like their
software.

the vexed glowing letters calmer of mind and soul?" -- The Cube, forum3000.org
