You'll need an Xserver for windows.  I use ReflectionX, kinda old but works.  Cygwin 
also has an xserver but it's so slow.

And then, you'll need to setup the ssh client for X-forwarding.  Setting the DISPLAY 
variable also works, e.g. export DISLPAY=ip.of.win.box:0.0

If you want a remote graphical login, you'll have to edit some files in /etc/X11/xdm 
to allow it.  Most distros disable it by default.
