Does the new kernel supports Ultra ATA/100 (UDMA 5) mode (for the Seagate
Barracuda ATA IV) on the fly? or do i have to use a utility to configure it.
Seagate docs said that Barracuda can support transfer rates up to 100 Mbytes
per second (UDMA 5) in Ultra ATA/100 mode (Using a win$ software utility).
Btw, what's a 40-pin 80-conductor cable? Is it different from the ordinary IDE
cables which iam using?
