Hi everyone,

Does anyone here use F-Prot for Linux? I got wind from an ITP of an
F-Prot installer on Debian that it's free for personal use. I checked
their site[1] out and indeed it's free for personal use. What's more,
they do not have seat license restrictions for their small or enterprise
business commercial versions (which are priced at US$300 and US$450 per
server per year).

Nothing as awesome as if ClamAv and OAV were already of top-notch
quality, but interesting nontheless. (Of course I don't know why one
would need to be running an AV on a personal GNU/Linux workstation, the
only need I see for it is in a Samba server and a mail gateway). :)
