what's the solution? i don't use SpamAssassin (i use Razor2, which
doesn't interact with evolution directly at all, it's just called
from procmail, procmail delivers the mail, and evolution talks to
pop3), but i see the same message once in a while. restarting
evolution fixes it. if the problem source is the same as yours
and your solution fixes it, prevention would be better than
cure :).
