Hello all, I've been toying with an AlphaServer DS10 at the office (well, a pair of them actually) and need leads on where to obtain a working Java environment for Linux (Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 to be precise) running on the AlphaServer. I've tried the usual haunts and even resorted to googling. I will probably hit something eventually, but if anyone can point to something that can reduce my search space, I'd appreciate it greatly.
At the moment, if I need any Java website access, I fire up Mozilla on a remote GNU/Linux box with a working Java plugin. The results are okay, but it would be much faster if the Java plugin worked on the AlphaServer locally. Thanks for any leads. xen -- ___ eric pareja ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) User #8159 http://counter.li.org \e/ [ Chiba City: A Cyberpunk MUSH - http://chibacity.erisian.net ] GNU/Linux v [ Philippine Linux Users' Group + http://plug.linux.org.ph ] Software & [ IRC /join #plug @irc.free.net.ph every evening 10pm onwards ] Freedom "...the symbol is nothing.
